Keeping Up With the Fleshlight Guys: Ryan Driller
Share
Welcome to our first edition of "Keeping Up with the Fleshlight Guys." In today's article, we interview one of the top male pornstars in the industry today, Ryan Driller.
Born in Littleton, Colorado, Ryan Driller grew up to be one of porn's most recognizable male talents and a favorite of female pornstars.
It's hard to believe, but during Ryan's teenage years, he was not always the handsome, charismatic stud he portrays on screen. Instead, Ryan Driller describes himself as the classic "underdog" in high school. Short, overweight, and shy with the ladies, it wasn't until his senior year that he lost 50 pounds, grew in height, and started to garner much-deserved attention.
Having always entertained the idea of shooting pornographic films, Ryan made his debut in 2008 around the age of 26. Since then, he has worked for companies including Naughty America, Digital Playground, Mofos, Wicked Pictures, Hustler, Penthouse, New Sensations, Jake Cruise Productions, BangBros, and Kick Ass Pictures, among others.
Quickly becoming the King of Parodies, he's appeared in over 40 thus far. He's played Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing; comic book character “Hawkman”, an exotic male dancer in Magic Mike, Christian Grey in 50 Shades, and Superman in seven of Axel Braun's productions.
As of 2021, Ryan has appeared in over 700 scenes. Moreover, he's been nominated for numerous AVN awards and even won the Nightmoves Fan Awards in 2015 for "Best Male Performer."
In addition to this, Mr. Driller has won the XBIZ Award for Male Performer of the Year and has scored an additional six trophies for his scene work.
When he's not saving the world or flexing his muscles on screen, you will find him at the beach, hiking, or hanging out with his dogs. Make sure to keep up with everything in Ryan's world by following him and his sharp wit on Twitter at @ryandriller and see his life in photos at work and play on Instagram @ryandriller.
Now, without further ado, here's Ryan Driller's "Keeping Up with The Fleshlight Guys" interview.
2020 Was an unquestionably crazy year for all of us. What are some things you did to help cope with it?
Boy, crazy it was. Fortunately, I'd had a good nine months' prep to get ready for it, with my knees (just coming off of extensive surgery).
Fortunately, my building has a Dog Run that a good handful of us have now set schedules.
So, at least every night, our dogs get some play with one another, and we get a little socialization. It's probably saved all of our sanity.
How has the pandemic affected your love/dating/hookup life, if at all?
Fortunately, and unfortunately, the pandemic didn't really affect my love/dating/hookup life at all.
It helps having it available at home.
What was your best 2020 experience?
I'm torn a bit. I moved apartments, and though in the same building I've been in, I have a much bigger space and kitchen. I also recovered from my left knee reconstruction in 2019 in 2020 quite well.
I also had my right knee totally reconstructed.
So really, any of those are my "super highlights."
If you could describe 2020 in one word, what would it be?
I don't know if I can use a word to describe it, so much as a sound...
I'd say that "rebellious yell" from David After Dentist comes to mind.
Did you pick up any new hobbies or interests through the pandemic? Are there any you are interested in exploring?
Early on, I did a lot of work on my car. I did a lot of bodywork, giving it a good facelift, adding some more power to the engine, and playing with all of that. I also kicked up my cooking game.
I would also love to learn how to edit videos (later this year).
What hopes do you have for 2021?
To survive. I know we all felt the gut-punch hit from 2020, but I'm just hoping to survive 2021.
I hope I don't have any more major medical care or treatments. I would love to start making money again, getting out there, and really working. Having two new knees should make that a bit easier, too.
What upcoming projects are you most looking forward to this year?
Honestly, any projects would be great. I did get the opportunity to work for Lust recently. I'm still healing and in rehab for my knees, so I'm taking it slow.
Not to put a little nudge out there, but I did have more than just my cock molded for Fleshlight. So, I'd love to see that get released for the fans asking for it.
Let's talk about your dildo. What is some of the feedback you've received from your fans?
Oh, I hear so many good things. They LOVE my dildo.
I've had a husband message me saying that he thinks he just got replaced by my dildo. I've had fans highly recommending it to other fans that are intrigued and interested.
They love the size, the feel, and a lot of the attachments you can get and use with it. It's great!
